David Cooper Unanimously Elected as New Chair of RRA

Chairman Mark Foley, Jr., stepped down after his last official act of hiring Brennan Duffy as executive director, and Attorney David Cooper, a long-time board member of the RRA, was unanimously voted in as the new chairperson.
Alderman William Notte, another RRA board member, was quoted in Wednesday's Rutland Herald as saying of Attorney Cooper: "He has a lot of knowledge of past practices, both those we want to follow and those we want to avoid in the future. He's a sharp guy and I think he's a good choice."
