This website has been optimized for:

All Netscape level 4.x browsers, Microsoft’s 4.x level and version 5.1 browsers support the required technology but you may want to check and see if you have newer versions of two common plug-ins: Macromedia’s Flash and Apple’s QuickTime – both of which are available free.

Macintosh screen resolution settings

To change your Macintosh's resolution please go to the Apple Menu, choose "Control Panels," select the "Monitors & Sound" control panel (it may say just "Monitors"). Select 800x600 resolution or higher. You may also use the color resolution adjustment on your control strip. Note: you may need to restart your browser.

PC screen resolution settings

To change your PC's resolution please go to the "Start" menu, choose "Settings," "Control Panels." Choose the "Display" control panel. Select the "Settings" tab. Move your "Desktop Area" slider to 800x600 or higher. Note: you may need to restart your computer.

ActiveX controls

From the Tools menu, go to Internet Options. Select the Security tab, and choose "Custom level." Where it says "Reset custom," use the pulldown menu to choose a setting of medium or lower (we recommend medium). Select "Reset," then "OK".

Cookies

Netscape Navigator (PC and Mac) – From the Edit menu, go to Preferences, then select "Advanced." Make sure "Do not accept cookies" is not selected.

Internet Explorer (Mac) – From the Edit menu, go to Preferences, then open the "Receiving Files" submenu. Select "Cookies," and make sure your cookies option does not say "Never accept."

Internet Explorer (PC) – From the Tools menu, go to Internet Options, then select the "Security" tab. For the Internet zone, choose "Custom level." Where it says "Reset custom," use the pulldown menu to choose a setting of medium or lower (we recommend medium). Select "Reset," then "OK."

Macintosh color settings

To change your Macintosh's color settings please go to the Apple Menu, choose "Control Panels," select the "Monitors & Sound" control panel (it may say just "Monitors"). Select thousands of colors or higher. You may also use the color adjustment on your control strip. Note: you may need to restart your browser.

PC color settings

To change your PC's color settings please go to the "Start" menu, choose "Settings," "Control Panels." Choose the "Display" control panel. Select the "Settings" tab. Choose 16-bit high color or higher. Note: You may need to restart your computer.

AOL 4.0

The AOL browser may improperly display, or tile, the background images. To correct this problem, select the "Preferences" category from "My AOL" located on the top menu bar. Highlight the "www" icon to bring up the web preferences screen then deselect the "Use compressed images" box.

Macromedia® Flash

Our site uses Macromedia Flash technology extensively. If you do not currently have the latest version of Macromedia Flash on your web browser, download it free from Macromedia and install it.

QuickTime: Same As Flash Above

You'll need it to experience some of the sections on our site. Download it from Apple and install. It's free, too.

Adobe® Acrobat Reader

Many of the documents for downloading or viewing on this website are in PDF (Portable Document Format). Links marked with "PDF" require the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not currently have Acrobat Reader as a plug-in for your web browser, download it free from Adobe and install it.
